A new Council of Advisors formed by Bread and Roses Missouri held their inaugural meeting on January 23, 2021.

The Council is a volunteer committee formed to enhance the available expertise to the organization on a variety of relevant issues and topics, including serving as a pool of supporters to assist the board and staff to reach goals of diversity, equity, inclusion. and accessibility. Members may act as ambassadors for Bread and Roses, as well as serve on other committees such as for fundraising events or ad hoc issue-related think tanks.

Co-Chaired by Joan Suarez (left) and Gwen Moore (right), the Council includes experienced, committed and celebrated social justice champions. Our advisors are artists/activists/educators/organizers who have made social justice their life’s work.
