Bread & Roses Missouri is among the 31 selected cultural organizations for the Capacity Building: St. Louis program facilitated by the DeVos Institute of Arts Management at the University of Maryland, in partnership with the Regional Arts Commission and made possible by the Centene Charitable Foundation.
This is an intensive two-year program that includes training for staff and board in such critical areas as long-term artistic planning, board development and engagement, marketing, fundraising, and strategic planning. In addition to addressing core arts management, the program will meaningfully thread issues of equity, diversity, inclusion, and access in the St. Louis arts and culture sector throughout the sessions.
Bread & Roses Missouri will benefit from this opportunity to grow its capacity for the current and future challenges of continuing its work at the intersections of art, community, and activism.
